Read about Schrödinger's Cat and you'll find another example of how what we are looking for forms the outcome.
I am reminded of my religious upbringing that said that God is Light and to see and you shall find. It seems that physics is reinforcing that there is a higher being but that we have to be a part of the process.
As geneticists learn more about our own DNA, perhaps the mechanics of how we are able to take part in the process of creating. Our DNA can hold so much information that we are closer to walking computers than animals.
“The fact that the genetic code can simultaneously write two kinds
of information means that many DNA changes that appear to alter protein
sequences may actually cause disease by disrupting gene control
programs or even both mechanisms simultaneously.”

Assoc. Professor of Genome Sciences and Medicine at the
University of Washington in Seattle, Washington, led a team that has
discovered a second code hidden in DNA. The discovery is reported
in the Dec. 13 issue of Science. “For over 40 years we have assumed that
DNA changes affecting the genetic code solely impact how proteins are made,”
said Stamatoyannopoulos. “Now we know that this basic assumption about
reading the human genome missed half of the picture. These new findings
highlight that DNA is an incredibly powerful information storage device,
which nature has fully exploited in unexpected ways.
