I saw a cardinal outside my window just now. It reminds me of home...Indiana. I'm sure that my family has noticed them too this year with all of the snow. Bright red beauty--that splash of color in this white snow and gray days that are January in Indiana.
In Florida they are easy to miss with all of color. It is actually rare to see the hardy winter bird here. I feel truly blessed if there is one that has decided to take up residence @ our home.
